The 2017 Class A Chase Format
Only the top 16 drivers in points and to compete in 26 of 26 (provisionals count) regular season races will advance.
Chase drivers will start out with 2000 points add 5 bonus points per win in the first 26 races.
5 bonus points for an actual start (provisionals don't count towards the bonus)

10 races 4 rounds!

1. Challenger Round - 3 races
(Only drivers to compete in 26 out of the first 26 (provisionals count as a start))
So 16 drivers in 2017
Only the top 12 guys advance after these 3 races.
Each will then have their points reset to 3,000.
4 drivers get removed after 3 races.

2. Contender Round - 3 races
12 drivers advance from the Challenger Round
Only the top 8 guys advance after these 3 races.
Each will then have their points reset to 4,000.
4 drivers get removed after 3 races.

3. Eliminator Round - 3 races
8 drivers advace from the Contender Round
Only the top 4 guys advance after these 3 races.
Each will then have their points reset to 8,000.
4 drivers get removed after 3 races.

4. The Championship Final
4 drivers 1 race
1 driver crowned Champion!


Each eliminated driver will return to the Chase-start base of 2,000 (plus any regular season wins bonus points), with their accumulated points starting with race #27 added. This will allow all drivers not in contention for the NASCAR Class A Cup title to continue to race for the best possible season-long standing, with final positions fifth-through-16th still up for grabs.

CLASS B - xfinity Series (Members only or Invitation only)
200 Miles or 200 laps
